The Regina Public Library Strategy Map, 2026-2028 provides direction for our priorities, and is shaped by our aspiration, mission, vision, values, and strategic imperative. Led by the RPL Board of Directors, the strategy map captures recurring themes voiced by the community, envisions a desired future, and defines the actions that will help us achieve that future.
Our area of greatest need represents the actions and enhancements that our Board believes can best support the bright future we’ve envisioned for the library, and our customers.
Our programs connect people to activities, learning opportunities, and each other. Each year, thousands of people find inspiration and growth through RPL’s incredible variety of fun and fulfilling programs developed to meet their needs.
Our collections bring knowledge and joy into people’s lives. They include physical items like books, newspapers, and magazines, as well as digital materials like eBooks, video and music streaming platforms, and eAudiobooks. They also include unique offerings like musical instruments, bird watching kits, and CO2 monitors.
Our services provide solutions and opportunities that enrich lives in countless ways. We provide English language classes for newcomers, resources for job seekers, access to software for entrepreneurs and creatives, and accessible materials and technology for people with disabilities.
The Dunlop Art Gallery ignites and cultivates creativity by presenting a diverse range of visual artwork focused on contemporary Canadian culture. They offer more ways to engage with the arts through their art programs and events.
The RPL Film Theatre entertains and inspires by screening Canadian, foreign, and independent films, and hosting community-partnered events, like the Foodie Film Festival.
