About Regina Public Library

RPL is an urban library system committed to providing community services, spaces, and technologies to inspire discovery, learning, and connection. We’re an essential gateway for all people to advance themselves through literacy, lifelong learning, social engagement, and cultural enrichment.

Our extensive collection encompasses both physical and digital materials that invite everyone to discover new worlds of knowledge and entertainment. We also have a growing collection of unique items, like musical instruments and artwork.

We’re a member of the Saskatchewan Information and Library Services (SILS) Consortium, which means that RPL cardholders have access to a vast array of resources from over 300 public library branches throughout the province.

With eight branch locations throughout the city and a Central Library downtown, we offer positive, dynamic, and inclusive spaces. RPL is also home to the Dunlop Art Gallery and the RPL Film Theatre, where community members can attend free art exhibitions and film screenings.

RPL offers a wide variety of engaging programs and dynamic cultural events. We build relationships with like-minded organizations, working together to create a positive impact on our community. By creating opportunities for people to harness the power of learning, we strive to enhance social vitality and fuel economic prosperity for our community.

Thousands of Reginans visit our library branches each year, and countless others connect with us through our growing online offerings. RPL is a source of inspiration, a hub of knowledge, and a catalyst for personal and community transformation. There’s something for everyone at the library.
